Welcome to Lakeland Elementary School!  

My name is Gretchen Baumgarn, and I am truly honored to have the opportunity to continue my work with the staff and students at Lakeland and to be a member of the Willmar community!

Lakland staff are caring and committed to helping all students achieve at high levels. We have rigorous support systems in place to assure that all needs are met. We assist students through our English Learner classes, special education services, and gifted education program. We place strong emphasis on social and emotional learning and build communities of learners in all of our classrooms.
